Photo Pass and Annual Pass

OK, I know this has been explained before, but I really need a road map printed in very large letters, LOL.

Anyway, OK, so I purchased an Annual Pass online. I will go to the Ticket booth at a park to pick it up.

So,once I activate it, what do I have to do to be able to use Photo Pass?

Right now I "think" the annual pass is connected to me in my MDE (because I purchased it through my MDE and I see it "sitting" there.

If I'm in the park, do I have to pull out my telephone and go to my MDE account and pull up that photo pass scan bar? Or does he scan my magic band?

So, if he scans my magic band, then there is probably a step I have to do first, right? Like once I go to the ticket booth and get my annual pass (by the way, will it be like one of the credit card ticket things or does it automatically go onto my wrist band)?

Funny thing is that I"ve been going to Disney yearly for over 20 years but all of this "extra" stuff is confusing to me.

Your magic band and AP should be tied to you through MDE.

When they take your picture they will scan the magic band and your photos will almost instantly be available for download on the app or website.

Rides with on ride cameras also have long range readers that scan your MB, although to be safe you can also scan at the end of the ride.

Once you activate your AP, every photo taken within the last year should be available for download.
