A co-worker of mine just returned from the World & had dinner @ Chef Mickeys. She told me that a photo package, costing well over $30, was somehow included in their bill. She ended up not getting it, but has anyone else ever had this happen to them? :confused3 We have ADRs there for 12/23 & are on the DDP, but I don't want any surprises at the end of the meal. Just wondering if this was just confusion on the part of the server or what.

We paid $30 for the picture package...it was not a freebie for us :rolleyes1

We were just at Chef Mickey's and they didn't even take our picture. I found that odd, but figured that was a change I didn't know about.

We just got home last week and they wanted $38 for the photo package at Chef Mickey's you do not have to buy it. Infact when they go to take your photo give the photographer your camera and they will take a free one for you! We did it at all the meals~!

You may get more responses if you moved this from the 'review' board, over to the main restaurant board.

I was just curious to see if anyone else had a similar experience. My friend didn't get any photos. In fact, when she asked to see them, there weren't any! lol I just chalk it up to the place being packed & her traveling with a 3, 5 & 8 year old!

We were just at chef Mickeys a couple days ago. They wanted $31 for the photo package.

I know when we were at Chef Mickey's a couple of months ago, they took our picture right before going into the restaurant. I would say about 15 minutes later they came to our table and asked us if we would like to buy the package and showed us what the picture looked like. The package consisted of an 8x10 and 4 5x7's plus a 8x10 of Mickey, Minnie,Goofy and Pluto. The picture was actually a really good one so we decided to go ahead and purchased the package. It was then added to our bill.

I've heard that if you purchase it, it can then be added to your photopass (if you have one) - anyone confirm this?

dh and I were there last night. We opted out of the photo because we did it last year when we were there with the whole family.

Last year they came to us with the pics and asked if we wanted to buy them and we did. I forget how we paid. Last night the family at the table next to us bought theirs but I thought she said $29 perhaps that was without tax or something.

I also saw many people taking their own photos.

Either way, they can't charge you if you don't want to buy them.
