Is there a reputable online company which lets you upload photos and turns them into the traditional style of greeting card that you open? You know, photo on the front, message inside.

I don't like the style where the message is next to the photo.

I don't like the style where you insert a photo into the front of the card.

I don't want to print them myself.

Thinking of making cards for Thanksgiv-ukkah.

Shutterfly and Snapfish are online only and make these kinds of cards.

There is also Treat but they are very pricey. They are owned by Shutterfly.

CVS, Costco Walmart and Walgreens also have them available online.

I've gotten these through Walmart. I ordered online and then picked up at the store. Great prices and the cards were really nice.

I've used Hallmark.com multiple times for these type of card and always been pleased how they turn out. I've also just had Hallmark mail them out for me, too. They charge just the cost of the stamp to mail them. I don't think they are cheaper than snapfish or shutterly, though.

Thank you for the suggestions! I didn't realize all these places did this type of card. Everybody seems to send the non-folding photo cards, but that's not what I have in mind.

Now I just have to get some props and take some pictures...

A lot of places carry them but not that many people buy them as they are very pricey, especially when compared to the flat photo cards. Think a difference in price of on average about $1.50/card. About $2/card when going with a high end vendor.

I love Shutterfly but never priced out that style card. For what I spent on just 40 cards with postage I'm considering not sending at all anymore but then I feel like a humbug.
