I have been looking for one for awhile.

I had Windows Photo Editor which did some good basic stuff, nothing fancy...but apparently Windows discontinued that software.

Adobe Photoshop is probably one of the best out there, but it is expensive and can be challenging to learn.

You might also ask your question on the Photography board those folks are "professionals" and can really help you out!

I've been trying to resize the images you posted in the other thread. The reason you haven't been able to use them as avatars is because the file size is too big. I was able to reduce the file size, but the images were a blurred mess. I'm still working on it though!:rotfl: I may have to recruit some outside help...

I use Microsoft Digital Image and a super old version of Photoshop. I just startred using Microsoft Digital Image and am finding it pretty easy to use. Unfortunately it is discontinued, but you can find it used in various places. Here's a link to the Amazon page: http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Dig...sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=software&qid=1195870071&sr=8-1

Good luck! I've had fun editing our engagement photos, I can't wait to do our wedding photos!

I use an ancient version of Photoshop also, and it works just the same as the new super expensive ones. Maybe you can borrow the disk from a friend who's moved on to the newer versions? Microsoft Digital Image (which came with my Vista) does a lot of the same things, like changing the pic to black and white, but when it comes to editing things out Photoshop is TONS better. The cloning/shrinking tools on Microsoft Digital Image are a pain to use! And I still havent figured out how to clone colors.
