We took our youngest child to Disney World for her 2nd birthday. Our 3 1/2 year old stayed home with her grandparents. Since it was a short trip, I thought i'd just share it via photo diary. Here are a few other points of the trip:
- We were driving North as every senior in Miami was coming home from Grad night....crowded rest stop!!!!
- We got 2 of 3 requests at All Star Movies, 1st floor and king but instead of close, got Mighty Ducks which was quiet and not so bad in distance from buses. Won't stay at Movies again though, way to busy. Was in room 2715.
- Very crowded the 3 days we were there, but they expected lighter crowds towards the end of the week.
- When Julia wore her Alice costume to Epcot, a lady came up to her all excited and played that Julia really was Alice and wanted her autograph and made a big fuss about it. And in turn for the autograph, the lady gave Julia a mickey pin. Was SO sweet!
- We saw Off Kilter for the first time and boy are they awesome! While watching, julia was playing with 2 little twin boys and their mom asks me "are you a twin" and I said yes? And she said " does your twin's inlaws live in Wellington?" and I said yesss? And she said, we are their across the street neighbors, my husband went to school with you guys and then he walks up and it's a guy I knew really well in high school and hadn't seen in years. Wow, what a small world! So we caught up a bit.
- on here a few times I had seen that Bob Jackson (i think that's his name) performs at Port Oleans Sun-Wed, so we went there, saw his name on the board as performing Mon-Wed or thurs....so didn't get to see him :-(
- 1900 Park Fare was ok. Food was good, much like Chef Mickey for breakfast, but very closed in and squishy. Like the character interaction and space of Chef Mickey.
- We wanted to see Stanley at Animal Kingdom but when we got there, he was having "difficulties" as the CM put it and we never got to see him.
Anyway, I guess that's it, here is the link to the pictures from the trip....hope you all enjoy them! http://www.beautybabies.net/juliagoestodisney.htm
