huh... I don't have a photo in this contest, but apparently the people voting do not understand what RARE character means. The photo currently in first place is a good photo, but its a character you see every day in the park.

I dont know which photo you're talking about but the photo in first place is my photo and has 7 characters in it which IMO qualifies as rare. I've only seen the 7 dwarves out posing for pics one time.
As such its my fav WDW pic and I use it as my signature photo Its actually so rare that quite a few Disers have PM'd me asking where I was and how I got the photo.
Heres a quote from the contest organiser about what characters qualify as rare for this weeks competition...............

The link someone posted is nice but as far as the contest goes, any character you'd not seen before and had to get a photo of, qualifies as a rare character in my book.

Pretty much ends any speculation for me regarding this weeks competition. If the characters are not rare enough for YOU then dont vote for that pic.
I think you do the people voting a very great disservice by accusing them of not understanding what rare means. What is not rare to you could be very rare to me if I had never seen that character.
I think its probably you who does not understand the spirit of the weekly competitions.

Id say your pic was rare Stephen - in probably 30 or 40 visits to MK only ONCE have I seen the full complement of dwarves (and Snow White too!) out and about.

My only query with your pic is, you are in it so who took it?!!!

I know you can see the dwarves at Spectromagic but I've never seen them out and about in daylight posing for photos except this one time.

My DW took the photo.
We all log on and use the Dis as a family although I'm the main poster. The pic is entered for her. Funny - of all the thousands of photos I've taken on our few trips to WDW my favourite is one that I didn't actually take. There you go.
