Photo Connect . . .

We are going to Universal a couple days before heading to WDW. I was looking into their Photo Connect. I think I have just one or two questions that I can't seem to find the answer to . . . Do they send a CD to you with all the pictures (like photopass) when you purchase the photoconnect package? Can I then print all the pictures I want from that, or can I print them from the website that you get access to when you buy the package.

Yes, they allow you to download the pictures so you could print them on your own. You also have the option of ordering a CD for about $10.

I am definitely going to purchase the Photo Connect pass, but my question is would it be better to pre-purchase the pass online before our trip, or just do it in the park once we arrive? Thanks for your help!

We got it at the parks during our trip this past November. I think it was $40 at that time as well. We also received a free 8x10 when we bought it. I don't know if they still have the same offer.

We did it in park, it took about 15 minutes between photos and computer information. Then I downloaded the app for iPhone that makes it real easy to share with family and friends at home while your at the parks.

Their facebook page says that's a $10 saving over the in-park price. I did it over the weekend. There's no "14 day before vacation" requirement like Disney has - they just email you your activation form, print & bring it to a photographer. I also downloaded the app & logged into my account, so it may have saved me some in-park time.

I used them in a photobook I made through Shutterfly. I also had a few of them printed as 4x6's.

What are the limitations if my son would get the package with his annual pass and has the "Photo Card", but we have 10 people in our group that will be frequently splitting up into various smaller groups? Can we all accumulate photos, or do you have to have the card for each photo?

If you have the star card package you can later add the other cards. You can scan the QVC codes of the other cards through the amazing pictures app or you can get all the photos manually added at photo connect. Give the kiosk person your star card plus all the other photo connect cards. I've done this a few times when family is in town and we choose to ride different rides.
