Photo Connect Price Going Up - How early to purchase

Where do you see the prices to renew?

I logged into the site (where my pictures are) but I don't see any packages... uhhhhh I was just down there this weekend and would have renewed for a lot less $$

Can someone explain how the photo card works? We will be in the park for 3 days. If I purchased the photo card for 3 days, can I download the pictures the week after I get home? I will not have a computer with me on this trip. Thanks for your help. Also, if purchased does the entire family have to be in each picture or can just the kids be in a picture or two?

I don't know how long you have to download the photos....but you could always contact them directly to inquire:

The entire family does not have to be in every photo. The photographers will take any combination of your family members that you want (and more than one combination if that's your preference). I had my DH get his own pics indiviudally with the Transformers, Spiderman and Captain America before getting ones of the two of us together with the characters.

In defense of universal I did notice this trip lots of random photographers it different spots in the parks, but there was no rhyme or reason for this. Plus there is no exacts spots as they are floating around and its hit or miss. In the world of digital age and many carrying decent capable mobile devices it makes it really tuff to lay down that kind of money for an AP holder.

We found the list to be spot on for our trip the first week of May. The Raptor encounter in Jurassic Park should also probably be on this list now.

We also saw various roving photographers in addition to the above locations....with Captain America in Marvel for one, with the Suess characters in Seuss Landing is another. Luck of the draw on those! I would love to see a permanent Photoconnect location next to the Kwik E Mart for Simpsons character meets, and with Scooby and Shaggy in Hollywood.

The 3 days refers to the number of days you can use the card in the parks. I've never found how long they claim pictures will be kept, but as a point of reference, the pictures from our October 2011 trip and April 2013 trip are still available for download on the website.

And as Gina said above, they'll do whatever combo of pictures you like. Even Dad by himself with Spider-Man, even though he's a grown man with a job and everything!

The old price of $90 for AP members is still good as of this posting.

You could buy multiple ones and essentially "pre-purchase" these packages and bring in your print out (they have no expiration date - and your account will show you have not activated it).

I bought one that I will activate in December. Mine runs until October.

This was such a great deal back when they launched it... I think it was like $30 or something.
