Photo CD -- has anyone had experience with this?

I ran into a problem with Wal-Mart, too. I was trying to make copies of vintage photos of my family. They said I had to get written permission from each person in the photos (from the grave, I guess!)

I went to another store (can't remember which one---sorry) To be on the safe side, you might want to check at the stores where you might want to have the photos printed.

We bought some pictures of our kids taken at Blizzard Beach a couple of years ago. They were taken in the lazy river, and were great!
Just wondering if the pics taken at water parks can be added to Photopass. And would this be done at the water park gift shop since it's not really convenient to wisk the Photopass card out of your swimsuit as your'e floating past the photographer.....

I just love this idea of the Photopass CD

We ended up with 101 pics on our CD. I had about 75 of them printed at Sam's. The color was great and they were very clear, not grainy at all.

There were a couple that were blurry but they were night time pictures and you could plainly see on the screen that they were blurry but I printed one anyway. It was of the castle at night when it was pink so it was very pretty. But again I could see that it was blurry before I printed it.

I can't say for sure about now but in January when we went water park, ride pics and character meal pics were not included on the CD.

We just got back from our trip and knew we could purchase the CD so we stopped at every Photographer we saw and had them take a ton of pics. On the night before we left we popped on over to Disney Memories in Downtown Disney to review our photos. The CM there asked us to take a guess as to the number of photos we had ... I thought close to 100, my girls thought around 70. Well, as she loaded them up we were shocked to find out we had 212 pics!! Great pictures too! During our entire family's trip to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (3 girls, my dh and myself all got treated like royalty and had makeovers), the PhotoPass Photographer kept clicking away, so we have pics of the transformation taking place step by step. AWESOME I tell you!! Anyway, we ended up not getting the CD that night because we decided to add 2 more days to our trip. The next day, we were out simply on a mission. We were seeking our favorite characters, places and vistas that were near PhotoPass Photographers and came back to purchase our CD. We had 340 pictures by the time all was said and done! The CM said she has seen as many as 590 pics done on one CD. So we have a new goal for our next trip! LOL My only complaint is that we didn't get all of the signatures and backgrounds we would have liked. Understandably so, the CM didn't go through all the photos. She did the girls' favorite princess signatures and some cool backgrounds. But some were left out -- no signatures of Woody, Buzz, Minnie, Chip Or Dale. But the pictures were great! I do wish that I had noticed that we came home with a picture of the girls holding an empty hat though ... they were supposed to put Stitch in the hat (they did to the one of dh and I holding the hat but not the girls). I am hoping I can get someone to photoshop it and add Stitch in. Otherwise we can just use our imagination! LOL Anyway, if you have the opportunity, buy the CD and just stop at each and every Photographer you see along your journey!! Well worth the money. I kept that card handy and whipped it out as if it were a secret weapon! Dh kept cracking up because every time he saw me I was lining the girls up for pictures, card in hand! LOL

I’ll be scouring the world for photographers. I would suggest taking a sharpie and writing your name on the pass. We did this last trip and many of the photographers commented on how smart that was and they wished more people would do it.

I can help with that - if you email the picture of you with stitch in and the picture of the girls without to "barry *at* rtd . uk . com" (you get the idea - i added spaces and the word at just to be sure no spambots pick it up), I'll 'shop it over for you - the reason i ask for yours as well is because the resolution will be identical, making for an accurate size and position match.

May take me a few days as i'll fit it around any actual *work* that i have to do, but it's a quiet time at the moment here in the office
