Photo album for plane?

My DD is interested in books for about 3 seconds. I was thinking about taking pictures of things/people that she recognizes and putting them into a photo album for her to look at on the plane. Has anyone done something similar?

I did something like this for DS. I used an 8 x 8 scrapbook album with page protectors, and then did 8 x 8 scrapbook type pages - only with a very basic storyline.

It was photos from DS's first trip to the zoo - so it was pictures, some sticker decorations, and then the storyline was something like..

___ is at the zoo today. It's his first trip. Here is ___ with Daddy and Uncle ___________.

________ and Daddy are looking at the animals. What do they see. They see Monkeys! The Monkeys are in the tree.

DS can go through his "photo" book and be happy for hours.

I also have scrapbooks for all his Disney trips, but since those are 12 x 12 size - not very airplane friendly. However, he is happy for quite a while going through his albums.

DS is 2 1/2. I'm not sure about the age range for your DD, but it would work for us.
