Okay i have a LG neon and i think its cute and everything but it DOESNT WORK WELL AT ALL! its my 3rd one in 4 months!! and its not my fault its not working!! my 1st one kept turning off every 15-20 minutes or so even if i didnt touch it!! my 2nd one wouldnt reconize the SIM card and now this one is turning off like the first one did!!

Has anyone with the LG neon had these problems or any with it??
and since this is my 3rd phone and it doesnt work i get an automatic upgrade to any phone i want!!! I am on AT&T!! wat phones wopuld you get if u were me?? i have looked at the Samsung Eternity & the Black berry full touch screen!! any other ideas??

i already did that and they people at the AT&T company says the LG neons stop working and hut off all the time!!

not helpful. If they are getting it replaced, obviously something is wrong with the phone. They usually don't replace these things for free unless it is something with the warranty, and they definitely would not give a free upgrade without things being legitimately wrong.

Anyways, I have been researching AT&T phones for the past few weeks because our plan is expiring and we are getting new ones. I am guessing you won't be getting a smartphone, we are not either. I have finally decided on the samsung flight. It is one of the biggest we looked at, but I just could not stand having to turn my phone to text. I really liked the layout, but the keyboard is very small.
My mom just got the LG Xenon and likes it. It is a bit confusing, but it is small and looks nice. I liked the impression a lot, but it was $30 more than the Flight and I heard it has a lot of problems and not worth the money.

If I were you, I would just get a new phone! Like a new style. Christmas (or hannukah, kwanza,other winter holidays) is coming up! Maybe you'll get a new phone...and one that works, too!!!

yeah MY used to b friend has teh impressiona nd she has problems with it!! and i like the look of the flight to but the keys r to small for me!! and i have heard the LG xenon has the same problems as the Lg neon!! just not as bad but it still shuts off and everything!!

i know lots of pepole who have had issues with their LG's. various models. its rare to find someone who hasn't had problems

i've never had a problem with an lg phone. all the ones i had were indestructible.

i've had 2 LG phones and have had problems with both of them. my friend is having the same sort of issue with hers as you are with yours, hers battery dies after like 20 mins! my previous LG phone's battery started to get really unreliable after about a year, it would die after like 3 hours, even if i charged it all night!! I got a new LG shine and have had it for a bit over a year and I'm starting to have problems with the battery again!!
It's not as bad as the last one, but it won't last a whole day, if I'm at work from 9-530 it'll be dead by the time i get home. it's such a pain! i won't be getting an LG again after my contract is up! You're lucky they're replacing yours, they just keep telling me to buy a new battery (for more than the phone costs!! ya right!!)

I had the LG Neon for 2 weeks this summer. It started turning off and basically just not working right.
I went to an at&t headquarters and told them what was going on. They said people were having a lot of issues with this phone and they took it back and I got a BlackBerry.
I couldn't be happier. Maybe you could do something similar?

So you qualify for a new phone? If I were on AT&T, I'd go with the iPhone. The touch Blackberries have had some software issues.

I've had several LGs on Verizon, and all of them have worked fine. I actually prefer LG over other brands (such as Motorola... too many software problems!). But I just got a Samsung Alias, yesterday, and I like it so far. I haven't gotten enough use out of it to tell about battery life, though.

Yeah you can call or go to the headquarters. I would recommend actually going to the headquarters and not a retailer (such as radio shack) because at the headquarters they are trained and are more likely to help you out.
If it's within like 3 months of getting it (or something), you can get a new one, or pay the difference between any other new phone. So let's say you want a BlackBerry and it's $100 (these are made up prices) and the LG Neon was $50 you could just pay the remaining $50 extra and get the new phone.
Talk to them they want happy customers. And tell them many people have been experiencing similar issues.

I used to have the LG Fusic and it gave me so many problems. After around 2 years, the battery life was about half an hour to an hour long when I charged it all night long. It used to turn off every time I closed my phone and just randomly when I didn't use it. I think LG makes really crappy phones XD
