Phoned disney today

phoned disney today to ask about rates for August.It was the usa number,when i said i was from the uk she put me on hold then came back and gave me the uk disney phone no to ring an said they couldent book me through the us side.Never had this problem before and it works out cheaper to book with the usa than the uk.anyone encounterd this

You should maybe try through Dreams Unlimited (link at the top of the DISboards site). They specialise in Disney holidays and will be able to quote you in dollars - which I take it is what you want?

We just booked through the UK website - I once tried the US website and it wouldn't process. I thought you had already booked for this August Paul.

I'd try again. I've booked all 3 stays this year direct with CRO in the US.

I phoned CRO yesterday to amend my August bookings, no problems at all, except they cannot get their heads around booking ME for me arriving at one hotel and departing from another, they have booked ME for both instead.

We booked direct with U.S. no problem your right they are cheaper...the only problem is them getting the phone number right....I would try again...

seamed that the person dealing with me was new her first day.she worked for disney at DLP before so thats why i think she told me to phone the uk number.Waiting a few days now as my head is spinning with differant permutations .Mix of DVC and free dinning,one week ssr then one week pop but then we would have to fly sun.Also waiting for flight offers that might come out this easter weekend.Would have booked this all last year but things hapened beond our control so no one was in the mood untill recently.
