Phone problems in the Indianapolis area?

FINALLY GOT THROUGH... I'm trying to reach my parents, who are staying with my cousin in Carmel, IN -- I get the fast busy signal at her home (landline, I'm assuming) phone, and my parents' cell phone goes immediately to voice mail. Does anyone know of any phone outages in that area? I'm a little concerned -- it's kind of roundabout, but my DS is at my parents' vacation home in WI, and he has a fairly urgent problem to talk to my dad about!

I just saw this... did you ever get through?

I have spoken to family in Fishers and they didn't mention anything odd.

We drove from Lafayette to Richmond this evening with kids on cell phones most the way, no problems. Hope you were able to get through.
