Phone call question...

Just curious...

I've noticed that the number for anyone to reach us while we on our cruise is an 800#. Do WE get charged in our stateroom for this call or would it be considered free since it's an 800# and we aren't the ones making the phone call? I would assume that is how it's worked, but just double checking.

The person calling to you would have to give a credit card number before they are connected to the ship. The CC will be billed at the normal Ship to Shore rates (which are generally an arm and a leg). You would not be charged as the call was incoming to your room.

It is expensive to have someone call you--about $7 a minute, I believe.

Yep $7 a minute for a call to, or a call from, the ship.
