I was crying last night. IT was so GREAT. I live in South Jersy right across the river from the ball field and you could hear the fans all the way to my house. It is so GREAT. But what sucks is I can't go to the parade tomorrow.

I can't go either cuz I have to be at the kids school for the halloween festivities. I'd rather watch the parade from my house though...I have a feeling it'll be wild in the city!

Same here I have a hay ride in the morning and halloween party in the afternoon so I have to tape the parade. I'm so disappointed because I was there in 1980(6years old) and now my daughter is 6 I would have loved being down there.It is wild but it is a good wild. I can't believe it still!!!!!

Isn't it awesome!!! I got hardly any sleep last night. There were fireworks going off for about 2 hours afterwards last night near my house!

Congrats Phillies and Phillies fans !! How great to have a really good baseball team !! Coming from western PA, its tough, the Pirates haven't had a winning season in about 16 years !! I am glad the champs are from PA !! My husband grew up a Phillies fan, so I decorated the family room alittle and we watched the games together. Is is fun to watch a good baseball team, no matter who they are !!

We are all walking around with smiles here today! So very exciting for the area and Phillies fans! I also cried when they won - it was certainly one of those will always remember moments.

We homeschool, so technically we could go to the parade tomorrow, but I do not think I will brave the city with 4 kids (especially because my youngest is only 3). I know my boys (14 and 13) would really love to go.

Yeah Phillies!!! I watched the game with DH last night. How exciting was that last inning??? You could just hear it in the voices of the crowd - they new the Phils would win!

My youngest 2 were already off tomorrow so I'm letting my oldest miss school and we're all going to the parade because it's been 28 years and you never know how long you may have to wait for the next one!!!! GO PHILLIES!!!!

I was born and raised a true philly girl now I am in Delaware County, but it did not stop me from letting the kids go outside and bang pots and pans last night. I think my neighbors thought I was crazy. But that is what I did when I was 8 in 1980 on my street with all of my little friends on our rowhome steps.

No my husband was over there voting at the county store(he won't be home on Tuesday) and he said it was REALLY Bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't tried anywhere else. I can't go to the parade tomorrow so I'm going to head to cow town on Saturday and get a shirt.

I'm glad you gave the warning about the Deptford mall, too. DS was asking this morning for one of the shirts because he saw them on the news this morning. I told him I thought it would be crazy there and I have too much to do to get ready to go to WDW in a few days, so now I can tell him it really is too crowded.

We don't normally let our kids stay up past 8:30 on a school night, but DH decided to let DS get out of bed to see the end of the game since he wasn't asleep yet anyway. It was funny because all of a sudden he remembered watching them win in 1980 and wanted DS to be able to have a similar memory. I'm glad he thought of that, because DS was so excited to see them win. We had a lot of fun watching him get so excited!

And I was tearing up watching it too! I was biting my nails up until that last strike and can't imagine the pressure those poor guys were feeling! But they did it and it was great!

I would wait or maybe try Forman Mills in Washington Twp. Like I said I'm going to Cowtown to get mine.

I was so nervous for them. My nephew(11) LOEVES the phillies and everytime the have a hit he calls my dad in Maryland to tell him. This is there special bond he was so exctied to call my dad last night. It is a great day for Phillies sports.I hope it started a trend. For my boys in the Orange and the Black.
