I just realized a flaw in this movie. You know the part where Donald is in London for the Peter Pan segment? Well, Donald falls off the clock or something, and starts to fall, and Tinker Bell has to sprinkle pixie dust or whatever it's called on Donald to make him fly. Except for one problem....





Donald is a duck. Shouldn't he be able to fly anyway? Somthing is fishy here.

Yeah, Donald has never flown. And as a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever seen him swim, either. I think he believes he's human or something... to go along with the theme that they really are more human than animal. If they flew or were able to swim like the duck he is, it would make it seem harder for kids to relate to him. And, it adds to the humor, because people like to see him fall and near-drown.... Twisted, but still at times funny.

Yea you're right. It's kind of like the fact that pluto is a dog that lives in a dog house, but Goofy is a dog and lives in a condo and talks. I think there was this one cartoon where Donald tried to fly though, I cant remember the name of it.

i agree with you guys on the havent flown thing. im thinking the reason he was sprinkled with pixie dust, is to just add an influence on it being the peter pan segment of the show. if youre not a fairy and already have wings, you need pixie dust. well...so says the world of peter pan.

i think the question on donald never flying brings up the argument that goofy is a dog and talks, but pluto is a dog and can't talk. I have never seen donald fly or pluto talk (actually i think he did once, but i've never seen it). i think its just something Walt Disney wanted. idk, but its a possibility

Does he even have wings? I honestly do not remember ever seeing any hint of Donald having wings.

They don't actually clip the whole wing off. It's certain feathers on the wing which allow birds to fly.
