Hi,

I'd downloaded a copy of each of the guides for guests with disabilities and I notice that it doesn't mention Philarmagic. Does anyone know where you enter (Iknow some shows you need to be a particualr side) and if there is a seating area to stay in an ECV or if its best to transfer to a regular seat?

Thanks

Sue

Like many theatre type shows at Disney, wheelchairs and ECVs 'park up' in in the back row. I have seen philharmagic twice from my wheelchair at the back, and all the effects work just great.

Interesting, I would have thought the seats for wheelchairs would have been in the front. Isn't Philarmagic where the Lion King was?

It is where Lion King was. I know that when it was Lion King, we sat in the front row. I don't know if there were also wheelchair seats in the back then.
Before it was Lion King, it used to be a 3D film (Magic Journeys). I think then the wheelchair seats were in the back row. They might have moved them back there again since Philarmagic is a 3D show.

So do you just stay in the regular line and get directed once in the theatre?

When you get in the pre-load area there is a chained-off area gainst the back wall that does have a SMALL accessibility emblem. If there is nobody there, just go through the chain (it is feld by a magnetic clasp). This will get you into the back row of the theater. There are groups of seats, separated by a space for wheelchairs and ECVs. The entire back section is reserved for handicap and their groups. I have been to Philharmagic twice, once near the side and once near the center (back row both times) and the 3D effects were very good both times.

3D is always better the further away from the screen you are. I'm glad they moved the handicap section to the back.
