Phil and Ted's Sport Stroller

...we bought the rain cover but not the sunshade. I am concerned that my 5.5 month old DD will get cooked in the back - any suggestions or is there better coverage than I am anticipating? I don't think the cover in front is all that great either. No such thing as the perfect double, is there?

Neither of my boys have ever gotten burnt while riding in the back seat. Between the shade from me and the front seat, they seemed to be protected. I have had mine for almost 2 years now. Hope that helps!

I don't have a sun shade for the back, but our second DD was just born, so we haven't had to use our doubles kit in the hot summer sun yet.
I would def. buy a sun shade for the front though. That small little one that it comes w/ does not provide good protection. I just bought a black stretchy one...similar to the one that freerjl posted, but for the front of the stroller, at BRU.

protect-a-bub makes a shade specifically for the doubles seat of the P&T. P&T also makes a sun net (think rain cover but in solar mesh) that will cover the front and back seats.
