Where is the closest pharmacy to the Yacht Club? I am flying down this morning and take off before my doctor office opens. I am going to need to have something called in. Anyone have a location and phone number? Thank you!

Ha, still had it in my GPS from last year!

Walgreens
13502 S Apopka Vineland Rd
Orlando, FL 32821
407-827-1004
Apopka-Vineland Road & Meadow Creek Road

I was at Beach Club last year, and according to my GPS, this was the closest to me.

There is a pharmacy that will deliver to the Resorts for a small fee-- total lifesaver if you don't have a car. But I can't remember the name and number. If you call the resort directly they can tell you.

Found it--Turner Drug: 407-828-8125 http://turnerdrug.com/

They deliver your prescription or OTC meds to the resort and you don't have to be there. And they are fast-- call in the morning and it will be there after lunch.

That's probably Turner Pharmacy, the one just outside WDW entrance. I know the Urgent Care Center there and the pharmacy had many Disney Resort guests and Cast Members waiting and being shuttled to and from while we were there last year.

The front desk of every resort knows about Turner--they have a log book for their deliveries and charge them to your room account.

I was in WDW with just my daughters a few years ago and somehow forgot to bring my prescription allergy meds. After just 2 days I was MISERABLE-- I get completely congested and itch all over if I dont' take them. I can substitute Claritin in an emergency and it will take the edge off. But the resorts only sell Benadryl, and that makes me sleep like the dead--not an option as the only parent there. After 4 days I went to the front desk to see about getting a taxi or something to get to a store to get meds and they told me about Turner and gave me the number. I was just kicking myself i didn't ask them sooner! I called from Epcot as soon as they opened and it was at the hotel when we went back after lunch for a rest. I was willing to pay anything for that med and as I recall the price plus delivery wasn't all that bad. Certainly better than a taxi to somewhere!

I try to always remember now, when in Disney, just ask for what you need! They have dealt with it all and probably have a solution.

Just wanted to say a BIG thank you to all of you for your help!! We ended up using the the Walgreens and Turner Pharmacy on this trip. You were all lifesavers for me. I love the DIS!

By the way, the delivery charge for Turner Pharmacy was only $5 and well worth it.
