phantom reservation?

i booked april 27-may 7 2014 in increments (7 days, then added day by day).

the reservations had different travel plan #'s, so MS automatically combined them into one # about 3 weeks ago.

the problem is: the website shows our 4/27-5/7 reservation, and another 5/6-5/7 reservation with different travel #.
about 2 weeks ago, MS told me the extra was cancelled when the combining occurred, & would disappear from the online system that night, but it's still there.

i called again today, and was first told that it was impossible for me to see that reservation as it had been cancelled (:confused3), and then that it must be my computer (um, no....i tried it on a different one).

i asked for a printout of our point usage, but just curious if this has happened to anyone else, and if anyone knows if there is a tech dept to fix it. my main concern is that if i can see the supposedly impossible phantom reservation, the reservation being/becoming active is just another impossibility that could happen.
thanks :)

You can check your activity statement on line, although I guess what is there might not be what MS has. But you could still check it to see if it matches with what YOU know is right.

On the DVC homepage, after logging in, go to My Membership at the top left. On the pull down menu, select Vacation Points.

On the next page, under your contract(s) click View Activity Statement.

On the next page, select a contract (if you have more than one, the one in question) and a range of dates. Then click the little Go button sort of off to the right.

You should then see a somewhat confusing looking analysis of the activity for that contract. It will show borrowed points, points used for a specific reservation (it gives the reservation # each time you did something to that reservation). The ins and outs look confusing, but if you take the time to really look at what is being done to your reservation, you can figure out where and when any changes were done to it.

Using that might help you figure out what MS did each time you called.

Good luck!
