Has anyone seen this movie yet?

I went and saw it yesterday, and I absolutley loved it. The acting and the singing was awesome. It followed the actual story pretty well too, which is good sense I am quite the traditionalist when it comes to musicals. Gerard Butler was a great Phantom, very convincing.

Everyone go see it. Best movie I have seen all holiday. Meet the Fockers is pretty good too. And if you want a good cry, or just an emotional movie, go see Finding Neverland.

I loved the Broadway version!! I cant wait to see the movie!

OMG it was sooooo good! I saw it last night...
The girl who played Christine was amazing! Also the guy who played Raoul... and he was hot too! hehe...
I <3 the broadway show too... and they only changed a few things...
GREAT transistion from stage to screen!

my mom loves the story and the broadway...my dad isn't too into it...she wuz pretty excited about the movie and asked me if i'd like to have a "girls night out" and we'd go and see it together! i'm excited!

i can't wait to go see the movie
i don't think it is out where i live yet but it should be soon
ahh
i hate waiting

My friend dragged me to see it on Wednesday when it opened. Having not seen the play before, I thought that it was pretty good. Not my type of movie, and a little too much singing, but not bad.

I have never been one to see a movie over and over, but have seen it twice since Christmas, and now I am obsessed. This movie was fabulous! Two thumbs (and 10 toes) up!

Surprisingly, I would love to see this movie. When I heard a remake of this would be out, I though, "Great, another flop." But actually, now that I've seen the trailer, I want to see it!

:flower1: The Phantom of the Opera is the best movie! I loved it! I've seen it 3 times since it came out, its crazy cuz, some of my friends have seen the movie 9 times already! They are so obsessed (so am I!) after I saw it I was like I have to see what the Phantom really looks like, I went online and even joined his website! :love:I dont care that hes like 35 hes still hot!!
Here he is! Its not the most recent pic but in order to get it on here i had to google him, but if you wanna see his most recent pics go to

Gerard's Officially Unofficial Website

I would go as far as to say that it was my favorite movie that I can remember....followed closely by Spiderman. :D

I saw that over christmas vacation, I thought it was awsome and it had really good singers!

It turned out to be one of the most amazing movie musicals I have ever seen! I loved it. I am even going to start up my vocal lessons again over the summer because I was so jealous that I could no longer sing those beautiful songs like I used to. I only had to pet peeves though...why does Raoul only wear his jacket on one arm in the Masquerade scene and then leaves as the Phantom comes down the staircase, and the Gerald Butler was to sexy to be the Phantom, anyone who read the book might agree, but hey it's Hollywood and beauty reigns!

OMG!!! I saw this movie and absolutely lllooovvveeeddd it! I am seeing the broadway version in April!!! I cant wait! My dream is to be Christine in Phantom! :wizard: Might take a fairy godmother to pull of that though! LOL

I've seen the movie twice and I really liked it. I've never seen the stage version, but I have a friend who's essentially obsessed with it, and has told me practically every detail. I thought the acting and singing was wonderful, especially Emmy Rosum. My biggest complaint was that they didn't make the Phantom disfigured enough...it didn't really look like he had a deformity, just a bad skin condition or something. But oh well, it was still an awesome movie, and I'm in love with the music.

I haven't been here in forever! AH! Lol, I'll try to get on more... :teeth:
Yeah but the movie WAS SO GOOD! I've been singing it for forever now! I've always loved this musical but the movie was really good! ;) I cried soooooo hard. But Les Miserables is of course better, but Phantom was still really really REALLY good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :teeth:
My goal is to someday play Christine!!!!!!!!!!! :teeth:

i saw the play..nd now we're singing some of the songs in chorus..so i'll have to make sure to see the movie :)

I was just wondering if anyone knew the significance of the part where Madame Giry says to Raol "keep your hand at the level of your eye"

I saw the movie and the Broadway version and the were both really amazing!
I loved it A LOT!!! :cool1: I went to see both with my mom and had a great time, i want to see the Broadway one again!!! :worship:

P.S. do you like dancing bananas?
