Phantom Cruise Reservations

Just wondering how many people have booked phony cruise dates while waiting for the summer 2005 dates to come out...

Yup. That is me. I can't even remember the week I booked (March 8, 2005 - I think.)

I'm waiting for Memorial Day week in 2005. I am so glad the announcement will be soon. I am getting so envious of those with counters in the later part of 2005.

We booked a phantom reservation while on board March 20....so am now waiting for dates and itineraries to be posted.....along with everyone else waiting anxiously.

With the exception of people who are booking while on board to take advantage of the 10% discount and $200 credit (that you do get to keep if you change your travel date), why would you book a phantom cruise?

Andy and I just gave up on the wait - and announced our 50th Birthday Cruise on a date DCL had listed.

IF they come up with something really great, then maybe I'll consider it.

We did. We booked while on board for the $200 credit and 10%. I've never booked a vacation that far out, but figured it was worth it for the discounts. I expect my preferrences for next summer will be gone when we cruise in October, so I wanted the onboard rebooking deals.

U 2 are just to impatiant .....Andy and Rae I think u maybe changing the Date.......

We would like to do East to west mystery cruise also


so hurry Up DCL.. We also cruise in Oct. So may be able to scoop up a res on the ship to getting any savings offered....
u know make one as soon as it is avaliable.... and then another on ship cancel other.....

Mmmmmmmm, I don't think Andy will but we have only that cruise scheduled for next year and maybe, just maybe if they are going somewhere new and exciting, I'll have to book!!!!!!!!

And yes, Andy and I are both impatient people! Regardless of what he says to the contrary!

We did while on our April 1st cruise. I think we're booked for sometime in May. Why did we do it? Well, we're hoping it will be out of California and we wanted to go on a DCL cruise close to home. We also wanted the 10% and $200 credit. As soon as they announce the dates, we will change it to summer 2005.
