PH FP strategies and Tiering FP strategies

Now that I've been pretty much convinced to get FPs to the park we are hopping to....a few additional questions come to mind.

1) What's the latest time prior to "normal closing" should we ARRIVE at the 2nd park? Suppose I only budget 1-2 hours before normal closing time (even though we'll be there for the evening EMH)...will I be able to obtain 3 FPs for this tight of a window of time when my 60-day window opens up? We have a 6pm ADR at Y&Y at AK so we'll be lucky to get to DHS by 8pm. It sounds almost like I should get my FPs for AK or eat an earlier dinner.

2) The reason we're hopping to DHS is because of the tiering which I think sucks. I want to get a Tier 1 FP for R&R coaster on one day and a Tier 1 FP for TSMM on the day we go to AK and then hop over to DHS. Is there any other way to manage this tiering aspect of the FP? This along with the limiting of FPs to one park just adds more agony to the planning of a WDW trip.

3) One the day we will be at DHS for the day....after my three FPs are done can I get an additional Tier-1 FP that day?

1. Probably, except that you need a minimum 3-hour span to schedule 3 FPs since they cannot overlap and are an hour long each.
