I convinced my DH that he would do a Daddy/Son morning and I would do a Mommy/Daughter one. I was planning on making 10:30am Ariel's Grotto reservations (unless you think later might be better) and going to PFF first thing in the morning. I've read a few threads about how folks waited in line before it started. What time is that? Just so I can prepare to wait with my DD? Oh yeah, and I'll be going in July if that makes a difference (DL is scheduled to open at 8am) Thanks.

the time is listed on the actual date on the disneyland calendar. dunno if july is up yet, but it should be available 3 months out or so

When we were there during spring break, the park opened at 8 and PFF opened at 9. We were there about 45-40 minutes before they opened and were first in line. To me, it was worth waiting to be first... than waiting 45 min behind a bunch of other people. It was a pleasant wait and plenty of little girls for my daughter to play with :) We got right in at 9 and it only took a few minutes to meet and greet each of the princesses. There are other things to do at PFF that my daughter liked. There is a little coloring area... so the kids can color while the parents shop for over priced princess items lol. And they have a few "shows". We did the royal coronation... which was very interactive and my daughter loved it. I think that was at 10:30 and then later in the afternoon as well. Despite the crowds... there were not that many people participating. Not sure why.

Have fun :)

I don't know... I think i would vote for Ariel's first.

That way your daughter doesn't feel the need to wait in the line for the princesses since she's already met them, and the early bird line has some time to clear out from the area. Unless if youre planning on doing face painting and hairstyles, then I'd switch it so that stuff can be in the photos as well.

Thanks for everyone's reply. PFF sounds so much better than our WDW's Storytime with Belle (and meet & greet 3 princesses in TT). I'll be there early, soon after opening and wait prior to them opening!
