Petunia pickle bottom diaper bag

My wife is obsessed with this diaper bag but it's $189.

I am the kind of person who does not see the sense in spending $189 on a diaper bag when you can get a good quality one for $30-$50.

Does anyone have a petunia pickle bottom bag? Does the quality match the price?

I don't want to spend this kind of money just to have it fall apart in the first few months.

ETA: I just noticed that it comes with a 2 year warranty!

I got my friend one that I found on clearance at Kohl’s. Still was 90 something bucks. She loves it.

IMO, $190 is a perfectly reasonable price for a bag that you and your wife will use absolutely every day until your kids are out of diapers. Dealing with diapers is bad enough, why not try to make it a little better? Make her happy and buy the bag.

This is number 3 for me (number 2 for my wife).

My oldest is 17 and our son is 6. I still have the $25 Jansport backpack that I used as my oldest daughters diaper bag. She even used it when she was in school for a couple of years.

I'm cheap, but, like you said "make her happy and buy the bag" is probably gonna happen . Once I saw that they guarantee the product for 2 years, the price was more acceptable.

I ended up buying her the whole set. I wasn't able to use the discount on it but it was still cheaper than what it would have been even with the discount.

nice! i think it will get allot more use than just as a diaper bag.

I had a lands end backpack diaper bag that I used forever after not needing it for diapers. Used it at WDW and other amusement parks as my park bag.

I'm usually cheap too, but a few splurges here and there are fine if it makes someone happy. Bags are not really my thing, but I admit I did buy a Dooney & Bourke Disney purse when I had an AP discount, which I hardly ever use because I just don't carry a purse much and it would not work for most everyday occasions anyway.

I did not spend a ton on my diaper bag but if you can do it and it makes her smile when dealing with diapers go for it.

Maybe get a cheap backup one for less desirable messy locations like trips to a zoo and parks to save this one from those messy adventures since it is a light color.

If I know my wife well enough, baby Lucy is going to have a diaper bag for every occasion.

Hopefully not all of them are this expensive.

I had a couple of PPBs and they were nice, but looking back, they were heavy and I ended up just using my trusty jansport, as you say. They do last forever, and they are pretty. I would not buy one again, but a pregnant mom/newly postpartum mom is allowed to request things that will make life easier. If you can afford it, it will make her happy.

I ordered it for her earlier today.

Heavy means she probably isn't going to want to carry the thing around which means I'm gonna be buying another bag that gets taken everywhere while this one is used for Instagram and Facebook pictures but hey, it's going to put a smile on her face when it arrives and that's what's truly matters.
