My DH is a big Nascar fan. Is the Petty Enterprise worth the money or is it a dud. If anyone has done this recently do you know the cost and how many laps you get?
:cheer2: :Pinkbounc :rotfl:

I'm in my 40's , my dad is a HUGE Nascar nut - and he did it, upgraded to the King experience and feels its a highlight of his life!! He was so excited he booked a "ride along" experience for my mom, and "tricked" her into going back (he said he bought the wrong shirt, could she come with to 'exchange it' lol) So mom got to "ride along" and she LOVED it - she loved the feeling of the banking on the turns, she felt it added so much to her watching future nascar etc races on TV...

Hint> we went in Oct, I booked for the first day, and it rained the first 3, so Dad, kept going back, book early, and in case of rain, you have rain dates available!!

and I tried to keep it a secret from Dad, by booking it, but I used mom's CC#, only I didnt have that 3 digit # on the back of the card...so when they called to ask mom for it, the caller ID came up "Richard Petty" :rotfl2: You can only imagine my dad's pacing (they werent home and "Richard" didnt leave a message! :rotfl2: ) wondering why "Richard Petty called MOM!!" :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I had my dad read some information from Deb Willis' site link above... and yes its pricey - I didnt realize HOW pricey!!

where's the "shock" icon???

(prices are on the link above!!)

Thank you for that website. I don't know if my husband would be satisfied with just 3 laps. Have to start saving pennies now.

I didn't think my husband would be satisfied with 3 laps either, but I bought him a ride along for Christmas anyway, because the vouchers were on sale half price. He did it last Wednesday, and had the time of his life! He absolutely loved it, and the first thing he did when we got home was hang the plaque with his picture in the car on the wall in his office. Of course, he still wants to drive, and will probably do that someday, but he wouldn't have given up the chance to do the ride along for anything!
