Pets?

We've got 2 cats and 1 dog plus fish. The cats were named by my kids.

We adopted Rocky last August. He is 2 and 1/2 years old:

Lola, the white calico, joined us in Nov. 2008 at 12 weeks old. She's our wild one. We should have named her Spitfire.

Sophie was added to our family many years ago. She's a King Cavalier Spaniel Mix and is now 7 years old. Not the best picture but she's wanting to play today not pose for pictures. :roftl:

We have 2 cats, both adopted from our local Humane Society. They are not litter mates, but are about 2 weeks apart in age--they are both 8 years old now. Hayley (after Hayley Mills, a true Disney star) is the little girl, she is black and white, and a really chatty cat. She likes to talk on the telephone. And, sit on my laptop. She adores DH. Our vet describes Hayley as being full of p--- and vinegar. Then we have Baxter, a beautiful dark brown tabby, who has slimmed down to a fighting trim of just over 15 lbs. since I retired. Baxter's mission in life is to follow me wherever I go around the house, he has lost 2 lbs. since my retirement over a year ago as a result. We jokingly say we should find Baxter an agent, since he is such an attractive boy. He loves kitty cuddles, and is the ever intrepid defender of our breakfast bar, where he and Hayley eat.

What a fun thread! We have a 13 year old Aussie shepard, Bailey. Bailey's job is to herd our four pet goats, Blazer 17 years, Dixie and Dory 2 year old twins, and Sweet Pea, Dixie's daughter, 10 months. Dory acts just like Dory on Finding Nemo - Never remembers from one day to the next!

I am loving this thread!!! We Have cats and birds at our house... Roxie is solid black with sleek short hair, her brother Klaus is 16 1/2 pounds of pure muscle with long black hair, white paws and throat. they are just 10 months old. Pepe is our parrot and Nikki is the canary that never shuts up.

I would post photos, but I don't have a clue how to.

No pets here, as I am allergic almost every single one you can have. The kids want to get a fish, but I have never had much luck with them, they always seem to die within a week, no matter what I do.

We have a dog, a springer spaniel mix named Oreo.(her mom's name is Disney)
And a cat named Nala. Unfortunately I just found out,because of skin testing,that I am allergic to both cats and dogs. Hopefully the new meds will keep everything under control.

This is Rajah 8 yrs old, and Cole 2 yrs old. Rajah is the cat who loves to be in the same room as you, but don't touch him. The reward is his mere presense

The day we moved in to my mom's old house, my 19 year old sprung the 3 month old puppy on me that she had bought the month before and been hiding at the boyfriend's. Meg knew me well enough to know I'd never turn out a dog (her position was a little iffy though!)

Meg had named the beagle Alice, because she was so curious. I usually call her Ally. She has become my sunshine in the last 6 months. Next to Disney, she's the topic I bring up most.

We have a cat called Molly, tortoise (sp) shell type, shes very old and is now 19 in human years, very grumpy and death....bit like my mum really We also have another cat called......Tigger, ginger and has several homes but I am his real Mummy.

I have 3 pets,but all at different locations. At my house we have a 5 month old Labrador retriever mix named Smokey (i didn't name him).My dad says he is a New Orleans rescue. At moms, she has a marble cat, Kit, about 4 years old. She was adopted. Lastly, my step dad has our baby, Goldie, who is a 13 year old Shetland Sheepdog. I miss her so much and she is, unfortunately, onher way out. She's old and has health problems.

We have 2 Shelties. Often refered to as "The Boys".

Sheldon is 9.

Strider is the one on the right. He was a rescue dog and he is 10.
The one in the middle is Bella my brothers dog we were watching her while they were in Texas for Christmas. This was a very hard picture to take lol.
