Has anyone tried the Petites Assietes de Remy lately? I just came across it on the DCL website and there is very little info about it anywhere. Wondering if you have time to go to it and still make the second seating for dinner. We like to meet our servers the first night on the cruise and that's the only night it's offered.

I don’t have an answer, just a comment to say how cool! I’ve never been to Remy (too cheap). I wonder if the tasting costs the same as the normal dinner experience.

it's $50 per person, includes a wine pairing. We are interested, but want to know if it's worth it.

I have looked into it for our next cruise & here is what I found out: Everyone Loved it who did it (limited number of couples) on the first night of the cruise, It is a tour of Remy & their "wine cellar". You get tastings of chef's choice & wine pairing/tasting, its $50 per person, you sign up by going to Remy/Palo the day you get on board & give them your stateroom #, they will call you if they get enough folks to sign up. All of that is great but it was at 5 or 5:30 & we didn't want to missing the opening show (6:15pm) on the first night for late dinner seating. It would be great if they did this on other evenings too!

this is from DCl Concierge Shoreside this morning......

Petites Assiettes de Remy
Embark on a tasting tour of Remy, where you’re invited to feast on small plates of Remy’s gourmet cuisine while savoring fine wine. Offered during the early evening hours on the first day of your cruise, this “tiny plates” dining experience is hosted by Remy’s Executive Chef and Sommelier, who both serve as epicurean guides for your 6-course culinary journey. The unique meal concludes with a distinctive dessert and the final wine pairing in the private Chef’s Table dining room.

My experience with Remy (including dinner, brunch and the dessert experience) is that it's not about whether you have the time to make second seating but whether you have the stomach space to make it worthwhile going to the MDR at all. The courses may be small but they add up quickly and I've always been full after every Remy experience. If you're able to do it as early as possible and just commit to maybe some soup for dinner, go for it. Or if you're willing to skip dinner and just veg in your room afterwards, go for it. I guess I'm really saying is: go for it! But be realistic about what you can eat for dinner afterwards.
