Those are the Glow with the Show Mickey ears at the Disneyland Resort. They light up with the World of Color, Fantasmic!, the Mad Tea Party, and the Fireworks. The fireworks show has a special standing section for people wearing these ears, and it's a neat effect to see the changing colors in time with the music.

I wore mine to last year's MNSSHP (I went as a Disneylander and was thrilled when a CM identified my costume!) and my friend told me that my ears were synced to the music. I don't know if they're synced to all of the shows there, but they did work at that party.

I really LOVE those ears and would love to see them come to WDW. Although, if things work out right, I will be making a trip to DL in 2014.
