Are the 4 seater ships up and running? Is the queue any faster?
TIA!

The new boats have been running all summer. However, they don't seat 4 adults. They probably can fit 2 adults and 2 small kids. 3 kids/teens fit (or 3 smaller adults), but really, the boats didn't increase that much in capacity. Therefore, the lines move at about the same pace.

I thought they'd been running all summer, but I lame searching capabilities lol. Bummer that the line doesn't move any faster.

So are is the bench wider so more people can sit or is it 2 benches?

No, the line is still its usual slow self :headache:! The Peter Pan ride is OK, but I can't understand why it's so popular :confused3 ? I feel it's just as good as the other Fantasyland rides. Plus they have a not-so-easy handicap entrance, it's a nightmare if you must ride your scooter in.

I haven't seen them yet. But. I'm guessing that they are just wider and maybe the boats now hold more weight? I know they weigh all sm trains and prob do on most rides so perhaps that was part of the refurb? The bench seemed wide enough for four before so I'm not really sure what they did to improve it.

Well when we rode in July we went 2 and 2 like we always do. The girls in 1 boat, DBF and I in another boat. The ride is one of my faves but the line is horrible. I love it because it's so unique and I love the theming.

I was expecting a bigger boat too, but it didn't look bigger to me. :confused3 It was a year since I was on it before that though. It holds two adults and MIGHT hold two adults and two very small children. Most people were not squeezing when we were there in so it didn't seem to help the line go faster. We went first thing in the morning and didn't have a long wait anyway.

I guess I'm getting a bad perspective of this pic. It looks just like the old ones. We were last there in November and will be back this fall. Does anyone who has seen them know if 2 adults and 1 small tween sized girl could fit? DD will be 8 but she is 58 inches now and wears a size 7(WOMENS:scared1:) show.

Yes, you should be able to squeeze in there. I did notice a slight difference in seating space when I rode in June, but not a huge difference.

Yes they do look very much like the old boats. But to me there's a visible, if slight, difference in the width of the seat. But I don't know why they say it's a 4-seater....
