DH and I will be down to the park shortly. We'd rather use our FP for the mountains but haven't been on PP in several years due to the crowds. We didn't mind waiting when DD was young, but she's married now and it's just the two of us and waiting too long for this seems a bit silly. How are the crowds in the evenings, perhaps just before or after the fireworks, when the park is open to 11?

If you get there when the park opens and head to the ride, should be able to get on pretty quickly. Later in the night, depending on how busy it is in the park, I'd say it will be around a 45 min wait. Normally it's generally a 30-45 min wait throughout the day. Closer to closing time around the fireworks, I'd think it will drop a little to around 15-20 min.

I'd definitely recommend going early when the park opens..but if not, then I'd go with doing it as your last ride of the day

Thanks for the help. We want to do jungle cruise at rope drop so we'll try pp late at night. Hoping the younger families will leave by then.

Usually 45 minutes when we went in December, but practically no wait during the fireworks.

Peter pan fills up quickly in the mornings. In the first 10-15 mins the wait time is low, but it climbs up to about 30 and higher by 9:30. But this might be different now that the dash is for Anna and Elsa, and probably the new Mine Train coaster.
