Peter Pan Ride Closed 5/22- 5/26

Man I am bummed - I was just checking hours and operational updates at disneyworld.com and they list that the Peter Pan Ride will not be operating May 22 -26 I sure hope that we can catch it on May 27!!

So will they just be doing cosmetical touchups like new coat of paint, replacment seats (for torn or marked on seats), etc.???

I hope they fix the crash landing at the end of the ride. Almost every time we ride it slams very hard right before we disembark.

I wouldn't think they could do much closing for just a few days - I sure hope it is open on the 27th as this is my DD's favorite!

MaryKatesMom, you made me laugh! We always have a crash landing too on this one. It's one of my favorite attractions though. I'd be so bummed if it was closed for refurb while we were there! My husb on the other hand would silently being saying "Thank you!" I drag him on it multiple times each trip. When the MK has EMH, that's the first place I head....for multiple rides in a row!

Thank you for the heads up. Sounds like just a few touch-ups and clean ups w/ a short rehab like that. I wouldn't expect any real changes.
