I'm not sure if this was already posted (I don't see it), but it was announced that Peter Pan will not be opening until July 1st. It was supposed to re-open in May.

Matterhorn is still scheduled for May 22nd.

Oh man, for real? That's the worst. I was looking forward to everything being open for the 22nd!

:( That is my husbands favorite ride. Darn it. Thanks for the info! My daughter will be happy about the Matterhorn as that is her favorite ride. :)

:( Already sad about Peter Pan. Super sad about Matterhorn! I was so looking forward to seeing the new Yeti!

Wow! Our last day in the parks is July 2. I hope it doesn't get delayed anymore. That ride is just Disney magic to me.

Wow - How are they going to deal with the massive queue of people once PP reopens? It was nuts in the old, regular version and now with a refurb and a further delay it is going to be off-the-chart nuts. We go July 7-11. It is a wonderful ride but such a slow loader with only two and (rarely) three riders per flying ship. I am going to certainly have plenty of uninterrupted quality communication time with my kids while we wait in that line.

No, no, no, no, no! My inner two year old is not happy. :(

I was trying to decide on a June versus an early sept trip. This might push me to sept!

And right now Snow White and Pinocchio are open, but covered in tarps with photos of their exteriors that extend past the normal entrances. That area is a tight squeeze.

Good thing we have a trip scheduled for August. It better be open by then. My son loves that ride.

I can only imagine what went down at the meeting where the people in charge of the PP refurb let the "powers that be" know that the project won't be finished in time for the 60th anniversary kick off. Or the week after that. Or the month after that, come to think of it. They cannot be pleased.

I was just wondering how many heads rolled after that meeting. "OFF with his head!" They didn't have much going for them in terms of ride upgrades for the 60th, so this has to be a tough one for DL.

Oh bummer, we'll be there the last weekend of June :(

Noooo!!!!! We're going at the end of May, and I was so excited to see what they've done. It's always been one of my favorites :(
