We will be at MK for am EMH in August. If I want to go through PP's interactive queue but don't want a long wait, should I go directly to PP at rope drop or ride something like Winnie the Pooh before PP?

2. or ride something like Winnie the Pooh before PP?

1. Yes.
2. You COULD, but I'd do PP first.

We always do Peter Pan within the first hour of rope drop, I love the interactive queue. From my experience, Peter Pan and Winnie the pooh are no longer than 10-15 minute waits after rope drop for at least forty-five minutes!

We always hit PP, Winnie, haunted mansion and BTM. Within the first forty minutes with no wait.

Have fun!

We had pre-park opening breakfast at CRT on May 24. Breakfast was at 8 am, and MK opened at 9. We finished breakfast before park opening, and walked over to Peter Pan. I got there before DH, since he had to park the stroller. The PP line already had a posted 40 minute standby wait. (DH noticed the line for Cinderella and Rapunzel was only 5 mins.) Luckily, our actual wait was only about 25 minutes.

Peter Pan line gets long real quick after rope drop, always a good idea to do that first. Pooh standby definitely not as bad. But if you are very interested in seeing the interactive queue, then you almost want to spend more time in line, you could certainly do Pooh first, then PP second.

On our last trip, every time we did PP was with FP until last MK day. We went through standby queue at rope drop, and we had no idea the amount of changes they had done to the standby queue. Even though we took our time, and let people pass us, I think we missed most of the effects.

That's a good idea to head there first but let some people pass us or maybe I could just walk a little slower on my way to PP. Walking slower would be a greater challenge though since we can arrive at the DL gates 10 minutes before opening and manage to be one of the first families on PP. (need to remember to take a deep breath and slow down)

We spent 20 minutes or so in the queue, just looking at everything. We waved people past, so we could spend more time looking. They looked at us like "Are you sure!?" And then we pointed out that tink is going to wake up and cause mischief, and then we had like 5 people waiting with us. :D It was great.
