Peter Pan at rope drop

Whenever I have gone to Peter Pan right at rope drop, they did not have the interactive queue open. It took them about 20-30 minutes the day I was there to build up enough people to open the interactive queue line.

Thanks again for the great feedback, everyone!

This is interesting, anyone else experience this? Did you realize ahead of time that you'd miss the interactive queue? I guess we could just ask a CM before getting on line if we're not sure, and do a quick ride on the Carousel or something if it's not open yet. . .

We did PP during Wishes one night. (saw wishes 2 other nites) and the queue was amazing. With Wishes going on outside, it was more like "London on New Years Eve". The line was just long enough that we could enjoy the new queue.

Hi. We are doing PP at RD next week. Do we follow the 7DMT people group or do we go another way to PP.

Thank you.

Head through the center of the castle.
Then, pass by the left side of the carousel and follow left around the corner from Mickey's Philharmagic.

Thanks. I thought we couldnt go througj the castle any longer. If I can go through I know where PP is located. Ill do as you say. Thanks so much!

Great info on this thread! After Rd, how long can one expect relatively short lines before needing to resort to fast passes? I'm debating whether to hit other rides near Peter pan, such as Small world, or head to other high value destinations such as HM, 7DMT, or even go as far as PoC, and then wind our way back. About how early would it make sense to start using fast passes? Thanks for any input!

Do not waste precious "low-crowd" early morning time on small world or Mickey's PhaharMagic. They EAT time.
Yes, do the "priority" attractions.

The "when" of FP+ rates its own "masters level" of study.
There are dozens of posters who will sing the praises of this theory or that regimen.
There is no simple answer as to "when" to book "which" FP+.

And, :welcome: to the DISboards, Moxiepup!

The last time I was there, we did PP first thing. We were there at rope drop but more toward the middle of the pack. The posted wait was about ten minutes, we walked through and the interactive queue was running. By the time we'd ridden and got off, the posted wait was forty minutes. It definitely builds quickly.

Thanks. Priority attractions it is! Now to spend the next 4 months strategizing how to see it all AND save my achy knees... ;)

It is our first ride every trip. We always wait less than ten minutes at rope drop,

We did PP at RD after a stop for photos in front of the castle (there were two families, 8 of us total so it took a few minutes). I actually would have preferred the PP line to be a little longer because we didn't stop in the que. Sure, I know we could have let people pass but with my teenagers it just didn't seem the thing to do to intentionally wait for an attraction when we didn't need to. We still got to see everything as we breezed through, just didn't get the full effect we may have liked.

We did it on an AM EMH day as our first ride. We had to zip through the line. I wish it had a bit of a line.

I always "step to the side" and wait for Tink to fly-never been an issue.

I wouldn't think of going through thr Queue without seeing Tink fly-that's the best part!:)

We plan to try this on an EMH day. So the strategy is to get there early enough to not be a huge line but not too early that we miss the interactive stuff or have to zip by it. Hmmm...we do have a 5 yr old and 2 yr old so we definitely won't be front of the pack. Maybe a quick castle photo first.....

I didn't even know Tink does a fly by. I'll make sure to check that out next time.

Don't want spoilers for those who want to avoid them, but where does one look for Tink? I've been through the new queue maybe a half dozen times by now and don't think I've seen her. (I have, however, experienced something towards the end that may have been her doing, if you know what I mean. ;) )

Hi. When I am waiting for the park to open should I wait on the left side or the right side? Thanks so much!

It doesn't matter at all at that end of Main Street.
