So, in prep for our trip next week my DS (4) and I were talking about what we were going to see and do. He informed me that he wants to see Donald and Pete. Has anyone ever seen Pete in the parks? I guess he gets it from watching Club House all the time, but I've never seen Pete - not even in the puppet show they have for Disney Jr.???

Pete is my favorite Disney character, but I have never seen him in the parks. :sad2: I definitely would have noticed it if he was there.

That's sad to hear. I hope that DS will have so much fun that he wont notice. He's always liked Pete and when he was 2 he called him Peep - too cute!

I have it on good authority that the CM's have a phone number they can call to find a specific character. It's called the Toonfinder Hotline (for CM's only). You could ask a CM with phone access (City Hall or maybe a non-busy merchandise location) to find out one way or another if Pete is in the building.

I've never seen Pete at a park either, but I bet if you bring his autograph book to Town Hall and ask "could you have Pete sign this if you see him backstage?" they could make that happen :)

I don't think I have ever heard of Pete being in the parks, but that would be super cool! :thumbsup2

Also, stop by the movie theater on Main St. They show a variety of old Disney cartoons, including "Steamboat Willie" :)

And I think Donald is the hardest of the "Fab 5" to find at Disneyland. I've never seen him in toontown so be sure to grab him in the morning on Main St! :donald:

I've only seen Donald in toontown once. Your best bet for Donald is at the beginning of mainstreet. We see him every year there!

Yes! We see him there quite frequently. I don't think I've ever seen him in Toontown. If you can catch a performance of the Straw Hatters at Town Square (beginning of Main Street) over by the Mad Hatter store, Donald does an absolutely ADORABLE song that I think you'll just love (he and the drummer in the Straw Hatters have a drumming contest), and afterwards there's the meet and greet. I've never seen Pete though.

My 3 year old daughter noticed that Pete was pictured on the California Adventure construction walls in December, but that's the only Pete sighting we've ever had!

Thanks for the tips on Donald. I didn't realize he was so hard to find too! I'll make sure we scout him out first thing in a.m. I really do think Disney should consider bring Pete out - if they can intro new princesses, then he deserves time in the spot light too!

So I told my DS today that I had some news about Pete. I told him he was on vacation, so we wouldn't be able to see him. He asked where he went for vacation, so I just told him Hawaii. So now he wants to go to Hawaii to find Pete after we leave Disneyland! :rotfl:
