WoW = World of Warcraft
FF = Final Fantasy series
CoH = Call of Heroes

My husband and I play WoW, we have for quite some time. But with my 2year old it's hard for me to even think about playing anymore. I played the others from above for awhile as well a long time ago before I had my DD. I also played a old 2d game called The Realm which believe it or not is still around also played Everquest and EQ2 briefly. Recently tried Age of Conan but that went to the birds quickly I didn't like it. My next venture is Warhammer Online.

So as you can see we are big MMO people in this house.

As for me ive been a gamer ever since i remember. my uncle Peter got me started with atari i believe (so everyone can blame him for my addictions to vid games lol), then he got the sega genesis, at which point both my dad and i both got into the games and my parents went out a bought the system. from there on it all went to the games, ive been a game ever since. i now own a ps2 and a 360. i play mostly Call Of Duty 4 and Gears of War. try to play WoW (too much to do in that game). i love city of heroes. the burnout series is one of the best racing games out there (Road rage is awesome). Fighting games are my speciality (but for some reason no one likes to play against me), DOA 4 and Virtual Fighter 5 just to name a few.

Unrelated gaming note - Just found out today that Samba de Amigo for the Wii will allow you to use two wiimotes as maracas (as opposed to a wiimote and Nunchuck). If it is as good as the Dreamcast version was it will be a must own Wii party game.

Oooh, sounds cool, although, I've never played the Dreamcast version (mainly because I never had a Dreamcast but was rather a PS1 fangirl)


Extra note, bought some new DLC for Rock Band (loving Justice For All on guitar, but for some reason I can't do the solo on the RB guitar, maybe I'm just out of practice on those hammer ons and pull offs), and I've also got copies of Lego Star Wars (lego fun!!!!) and Gears Of War (not played it yet though). I was quite glad to see on the walmart site that many games are the same price as they are here, unless theres any uber-bargains.

What game should I get next? I'm thinking Grid as COD4 is still very expensive at work, even with a 15% staff discount...

Grid is a good choice, it's not as good as burnout paradise but its still fun. Have you played Mass Effect yet? Also Mercenaries 2: World in Flames comes out next week. It looks really good. The first one was great.

Hmm... I realised that I could save some money on games if I buy some while I'm in the US. As long as it's not made by EA, it'll work on a UK machine apparently. I didn't buy GRID in the end, bought Test Drive Unlimited, Wall-E, Lego Star Wars II and Gears Of War. Probably buy Mass Effect whilst I'm out there too, if it's actually cheaper than the UK price that is.
