Hey Kevin, You do do a great job of informing everyone about the status of the Podcast each week. We all know your swamped with the many jobs that you do, and appreciate every thing you do concering the show. But Kevin, between you and Safetymom, you've posted 7 times on 2 separate post concerning this matter when it would have only taken 1 quick post on a sticky.

Why should they have to do that?? They have enough to do as it is. Just be happy with the gift they give us. Who really cares how many posts on how many threads. Thing is you know they updated because they already posted. Just be patient, we all want to hear the show but sometimes have to wait sometimes also. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
 
I think everyone is taking things out of context here. Someone made a suggestion, as suggestion that they feel would be a positive thing for the podcast listeners. How is that a bad thing?

All that needs to be said is thanks for the suggestion and be done with it. The podcast team is welcome to run the show the way they like to, if they decide to implement the suggestion great, if not then thats cool as well. I don't think there is any need to get aggressive over something so small.

It may be more complicated than I think, but a simple Sticky updated by someone on his team each week, giving simple updates as to the status of the weeks Podcast would be nice. Statements such as: Podcast on time,
Pocast running late, will be late this evening, tomorrow morning, NO E-mail show this week etc.

Holy cow people! All you have to do is go to the podcast main page, the date and show description is right there, when the show is up.

You always can get it quicker by downloading it direct too.
 
I have to say since i have discovered the forums, I have had no issues in finding out whats up with the show. I think the podcast crew do a great job. If the show is not up on itunes by the end of Wednesday I just look at what the chatter about the show. I also keep an eye on facebook as well

So Thank you Kevin, Kathy and Pete for keeping us updated.

Some other Disney podcasts I listen to don't even let you know what is going on when they miss weeks of shows, one hasn't had a new show since June, but is still appearing on other podcasts once and awhile and there is no reason given on it's forum or anything.
 
It wasn't until last week that I put together safetymom (that wonderful icon from the transportation board) was Kathy.

I hide behind her skirts over there, there IS no pixie dust on the tranportation board.pixiedust:.

Seriously Kathy, you are always so kind and knowledgable. You got me hooked on Flyertalk. My face broke into a big smile when I realized I will get to meet you at Disapalooza.
