14 years ago I stayed at Poly and I remembered the water in the lake was swampy and disgusting. ... What is it about that swampy water attract people to touch it??? Is it the sandy beach??
I am from country where gators are not common at all. The only reason I looked into it is Pete's line!
Welp, there's my nightmare fuel for the day.Actually, Pete's quote is more about the dangerous amoeba than the alligators.

Pete's sign off is exactly what I thought when I heard the initial story about the attack

did they change at poly? I haven't been to poly in years..
I don't know what the sign says at Poly now.. If the sign at GF said "No Swimming" and sign at Poly said "Stay out of the lake", wouldn't that be funny since they both share the same lagoon?? "No swimming" just sound so wishy-washy, whereas "stay out of the lake" makes the message clear.
