He's the voice of the Joker in both the released and upcoming sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum and the voice of the Watcher in Darksiders. As well as many other cartoons, video games and animes.

Just a thought.

He is actually pretty well thought of in voice artist circles.

Love his Joker :)

:goodvibes

He's been the voice of the Joker in various series for almost two decades, and is a fairly regularly employed voice actor.

He was also great as himself in a Simpson's episode (Mayored to the Mob?) :)

I thought he had, but couldn't be sure. I do love the Joker voice though. I should get my Batman AA Game Of The Year tomorrow, can't wait to hear that voice again, and hopefully see the game in 3D...

Haha, I was thinking this as well when they were talking about this on the show. Carrie Fisher has also done things! She's written some popular books.

IMO the real reason that Disney doesn't get "real" A-list celebrities for Star Wars weekends is simple, because they don't have to. If people line up for 4 hours before park opening to get an autograph of the guy that played the 23rd stormtrooper from the left, 12th row, in that 3 second scene in the 5th movie, than why would they put out the extra money to get an A-lister?

Personally, I'm very upset at what they deem "celebrities", especially the second weekend, which is when we will be there. Matthew Wood, Lorne Peterson, Tom Kane. Excuse me while I yawn. 2 voice-over guys and a modeler? What, was the guy that combed Chewbacca's suit busy? D-listers at best.

Carrie Fisher has been doing a one-woman show on Broadway.

And let's not forget Mr. Hamill's sweeping cinematic masterpiece, "Corvette Summer".

To be fair, I think Ashley Eckstein (one of the "voice-over guys" as you put it) did a great job last year, and it has helped create a lot of buzz and insight into The Clone Wars. DD#1 was thrilled to see her and Matt Lanter last year, and they previewed Season 2 and even showed how they do the voice work.

Ashley seemed genuinely happy to be involved. I think Jay Laga'aia was as well, although he didn't seem 100% comfortable in the position of host.

I saw Mark Hammil and Rue McLanahan in a play down here in Coconut Grove about 8 years ago. LOL.

Not only is she an author with a one-woman show that she wrote and performs in, but she is also one of the the most sought-after script doctors in Hollywood. A very financially successful, and thankfully private, career.
