Pete, any thoughts about video taping the Podcast show and putting it up on the site?

As I remember, your survey included a question asking if we'd be interested in watching podcast shows. I haven't heard any more talk about it. Have you given it any additional consideration? I'm sure it would be just one more headache that your not quite ready to tackle, but it would be cool to see just once in a while.

It has come up in the past but Pete has indicated he won't do it, at least not at the time. I would wager a guess that if there ever is a video version it will be a one off for a destination taping. Maybe the taping on PCC 2.0 or the next time they do one at the Swan/Dolphin.

I thought I saw that podcast didnt I? I know I saw one taped somewhere?? Was it at another location? GLP?

I am with you though, as much as I would like to see them, I wouldn't want to be the one being taped I sooo hate being on video.

Yes it was, but I think the camera was about as far away as it could have possibly been. Not the same as an up-close intimate setting as the round table. I know there are several team members that don't want to be seen on video. Maybe y'all can rig some sort of curtain, you know like that sitcom where the guy stands behind the fence and you only see the top of his head. Just kidding of course. Just thought it would be pretty cool to see how the whole setup works.

I think having a video podcast would be too stressful for everyone.."careful don't this this....don't pick nose...etc..." Definately leave it up to our imaginations what is going on behind the mic with an audio podcast....

I'm with Kathy. I like to do stuff while listening - like hike, walk, etc. It would need more of my attention if it was a video. But once in a while would be cool!

Can you do other things in a room when the TV is own and not have to sit down and watch it? I'm sorry but what I said before made no since at all and was pretty stupid sounding. (long day at work, pretty tired and too much wine.) You can still listen to it and not have to watch. As I said in my post, video it just once in a while. A long while would be great.

Yes actually I do. Spying on me again? Maybe you should get a hobby... The point is that if it was a video, I would WANT to watch it and see the expressions, actions, etc. Or if they were doing it at a special location, I'd want to see what was going on. See the difference?

When I was training to be a teacher, several lessons we did had to be video taped and reviewed by us and our peers. That was complete torture so I can understand how some podcast team members may not want to do that.

Kevin, I think you know me by now. I guess this sums it up as well as anything. Everyone has an opinion that's no better than anyone else’s. That being said, I have a problem, pet peeve and very little tact, however for people who: Argue for the sake of arguing; for people for whom
it will be known as the pop heard around the "World" if Pete ever shuts this site down, PUN intended; people who take things from post and twist them entirely inaccurately; who read things into post that don’t exist. I'm not specifically talking about this issue, just post in general.
