My dog is a licker. He'll lick anything. For hours on end. Me, the sheets, the couch, the air, himself, he doesn't care. Drives me nuts! He also LIVES to play fetch, ALL THE TIME. He constantly bugs me to play fetch with him. If I'm walking down the hall he shoves his toy into the back of my leg as a not so subtle hint. What does your pet do that makes you nuts?

He is my shadow!!! I swear, it can be 3am and he needs to go out..but if DH gets up all he'll do is sit and whine for me to get up. Anywhere I walk, he is there. He is 7 but up until about two years ago, he and my kids would cry when I went to the bathroom!

Oh and he eats underwear, but again, not DH's only mine!

Our dogs will bark at anything that moves ... mowing the lawn when they're outside in their pen is not a fun experience.

Ahhhh yes, the bathroom, I forgot! I haven't been to the bathroom alone since the day I brought him home when he was 7 weeks old. He's 2 now. I guess he figures if I go with him outside to the bathroom he has to go with me! Mine is my shadow too. He follows me everywhere and will only obey MY commands. LOL he knows who's in charge around here and it's NOT daddy!! :teeth:

2 things...the fact that my dog is a rottweiler, b ut insists hes a puppy and wants to always climb on my lap....and 2, SOMEHOW he finds socks and washcloths to eat..we have no idea where he gets them ,but always has them!!

My dog understands English too well.

And yes, I know there are some who say that dogs can't understand human language. To them I say, you haven't met my Maxidog. :)

We have to be very careful about saying the words "car" or "walk" around him. If he hears us say those words or even if we just spell them out, he's ready for action. He grabs his leash and runs for the front door.

He's a very enthusiastic dog.

lol we named my cat shadow cause during the winter he was always with me, to t he pointhe stretched out and lay his head on my shoulder after i fell asleep, hes also a 20 lb black persian kitty,, he looks huge in his winter coat,, last winter his mane was over 5 inches long, now hes not as snugglly all the time, but he still wantrs to be right at my feet or in my lap if hes inside,, and he lets ya know hes ready to come in or vise versa,, even to the point he will knock stuff off bedside tables to wake us up,, and it cant be just one or the othre he has to wake us both..lol

And another! The little bugger will lay on my back or tummy when I'm sleeping, whatever is exposed then have the nerve to give me a little growl when I roll over and he falls off the bed!

FroggyinArk my cats do that knocking things around to wake us up thing. Aggravating when you can sleep in on a weekend and they are waking us at 5:30. Our golden retriever pup is 4 months old and she loves to tear up any kind of paper or wrapper she can find. The kids leave the cabinet door adjar in the bathroom and she knows where the new rolls of toilet paper are and she'll butt it open with her nose and tear up a whole roll of toilet paper. Good thing we love her!!

My golden does this all the time. If I am sitting on the floor with my kids, my 100lb golden is sitting on my lap....and you can't push him off. The kids think it is funny...but ugh..it is impossible when I am pregnant!

My roomates' Lab and my Newfoundland are the same way. Nothing like trying to watch TV when your 125lb dog wants to sit with you :o

My dog also barks at... well... nothing. He'll stare out the window and "woof" when there is absolutely no one or nothing outside.

And my Newfie is a HORRIBLE snorer!! I mean LOUD!

Gotta love 'em though, right?? :D

My cat climbs up on the pillow next to my head and meows in the middle of the night. She just stands up there, looking at the wall and meowing.

My sweet, sweet darlings are bed-hogs. Complete and total. Tycho also likes to sleep in the laundry basket - clean or dirty laundry, he doesn't care. Wedge, of course, is perfect and has no annoying habits. Definitely doesn't shove the book out of my hands when he needs attention.

See my tag -- he sticks to me wherever I go.

Our dog howls a lot....and he licks me all the time...no one else..just me, and always when I am trying to do something.

Now the dogs I am housesitting one wont eat, the other only seems to go potty on the floor, wont do it outside for me....

I love dogs, I really do, I just wish I had my own puppy...(the dog i listed as "ours" is my parents dog)
