I have a 1.5 yo Chocolate Lab and was thinking about bringing her with us to WDW on vacation:idea:. Have you ever boarded your dog on property:dogdance: and if so, which kennel is the best. Also I read that some of them require you to come and walk them several times a day:confused3. Are there any that do for me so I don't have to spend valuable "park" time comming and going to the kennel.

I use the Disney kennels all the time. I prefer the one at MK/TTC. They will walk your dog twice per day included with the cost. You can purchase extra walks if your dog needs it, or you can do what we do, which is to go over in the evening after the parks and walk our dog before bed. My dog is the kind of girl who will put on her "brakes" if she doesn't like somewhere. I can tell if she's treated poorly because she will do it every time. But at the TTC Kennel, she wags her tail and likes the girls who work there. So I know she's treated well.

I boarded my Chi last December on property. I had to go for the full service because having to come back to her midday would break my heart. I used both MK and Epcot, but the Epcot kennel and its employees were my favorite of the two. At Epcot, two of us were allowed to go back and drop her off/pick her up but MK only let me back. This is no bueno with my little one who fidgets like crazy and typically needs two people to handle her when she is excited.
