Pet hedgehogs

Anyone else have one!? I just got mine last week so he is still getting used to us. I think our dog loves him the most of all of us though, she just wants to play with him.

We got one in Dec. such a cute sweet pet, it is my daughter's and I am actually wishing she loses interest in it as I am so enamored of it. The cat is still figuring it out LOL

Hedgehogs are not legal pets in the state of Pennsylvania.

My daughter has an albino one. I only tried to hold it twice. Love her birds, but I don't mess with her hedgehog.

My granddaugher has had her hedgehog for two years now, and she loves that little thing. She is an AG student and did a lot of reasearch before she got her. One of their cats sleeps with her when she is out of her "home." We live in New England and this little girl needs to be warm, so she has her own little ceramic heater thing, a playpen when she is out running around so she does not get hurt and more toys than I would ever have though a critter needed. Thank goodness my DD has a reliable pet sitter who took the time to come over to make sure Grace got to know her because not everyone will babysit a hedgehog!

I had one when I was in undergrad...her name was Stout (guess where my screen name came from)! That was nearly two decades ago. Now my own kids are obsessed with the idea, so we recently put a deposit down and will hopefully be finding a good match with an upcoming litter. They already have its name picked out and it hasn’t even been born yet...Stitch!

this is our hedgie when we first got her, and she was still pretty small: Miss Skylar. LOL... i think i am most fascinated by their paws. They have these big round bodies, and then such tiny little feet.

I had one years ago but was allergic to him so I couldn't keep him. He was the cutest thing!
