Just curious...

Has anyone ever used the petcare that Disney provides near the Boardwalk/Beachclub area? Is it within walking distance from either, and is it usually full? Thanks!

I thought the only pet boarding was day boarding only (maybe this has changed, though) and the kennels were near the park entrances. We board our dog at home and she is very happy there.

Each of the parks has kennel facilities. If you are a resort guest, you may board your pet overnight. The closest facility to the Boardwalk/Beach Club area would be MGM. Since there is a walkway, you could walk over.

We took our dog once, and boarded her at AK. I believe it was $9 or $10 for overnight. You were able to go in anytime and get them to take them for a walk. I liked AK, because we could go over at night, and there was a decent amount of grass area there.

The only thing I didn't like was that there were no windows in the facility, and they shut the lights out in the kennel room at 6:00 at night. There was only a small light in one of the rows that did not illuminate the other rows. I felt like our dog was being left in the dark from 6:00 pm until probably 7:00 am when then staff came in.
