I just found out that there's a company that uses commuter planes for pets to fly in the cabin and not in cargo! It has flight attendants that check on each pet every 15 minutes. This is something I would definitely use! It's about time there was something like this.

Is this for pets that commute to work each day?

 Well, I guess they could.

I want to take my god to California with me, but I don't want him in the cargo hold. This solves the problem for me. There's a participating airport in my area. But, they're already booked up a year in advance. That kind of success should lead to more airports involved and a bigger fleet of planes.

Your god? I love it!! I guess I thought most airlines allow animals as carry on luggage, but as I am typing this I am thinking perhaps you are referring to animals too large to tuck under a seat? That actually is VERY cool. Animals are NOT cargo.

Yes, it is pets who can't fit in a carrier that fits completely under a seat. No scorpions, though, I think - no matter what size ;)

Actually, if you read the site more closely, depending on where the pet travels too, they will keep your pet overnite! Even though technically, a trip from NY to L.A. is 6 hours, they will house the pets overnight at the airport in Chicago, so that the pilots can be fully rested to continue the flight.

Here is another thread where we talked about it. I just wouldn't know if there would be enough safeguards in place for the health & safety of my Kitty.

:lmao: I just caught the "typo." Actually, I don't think it is a typo, more a Freudian slip. Yes, dogs are Gods. :worship: :thumbsup2

Where can I sign up to be a flight attendant? " Iams, Nutro or Canadae? :rotfl2:
