pesto seasoning

Last year someone gave us a decorated glass shaker container with pesto seasoning inside. It was a fun gift and my family loved it on popcorn and pasta. I'm wondering if anyone on this board may have the ingredients for homemade pesto seasoning?

I don't, but I expect you could use dry pesto ingredients - dried basil, finely grated parmesan, finely chopped pine nuts and seasoning (garlic salt, black pepper etc.) The trouble is, parmesan soon loses its flavour once grated. Did you have to refrigerate the shaker?

I located the recipe from my husband's co-worker. Here it is if anyone is interested:

Pesto Popcorn Seasoning

3 tablespoons butter flavor sprinkles
2 tablespoons grated parmesean cheese
1 teaspoon crushed dried basil
1/2 teaspoon crushed dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Mix it all together and enjoy!

That sounds so good! I bet it would be a great on salad with a little oil.
