Well hello uk board, I need help in trying to persuade my parents to take us back to orlando this year.

I have been twice to orlando - 1st time was at pop century in 2004 and the second was last year 2006 offsite at Best Western Lakeside.

I have tried asking and my mum replied 'Im disneyed out' which kinda made me laugh but thats her current view. This year she wants to go on a typical spain package holiday which would be ok, but just not the same. I am going to be 17 this year and feel that this year will be the last time I will possibly go away for a while with my parents so by going away on a last orlando trip it would make my summer holiday.

Any suggestions? Sorry if i sound ungrateful as my mum describes, I just have the Disney bug unfortunately for her :lmao:

Perhaps you could compromise and go to Spain and DLRP?

Hi Emma what about going to Spain this year with mum & Disney for your
18th.
You could make that trip your last with your parents and have a magical time doing something speical at one of the parks that you have never done before.
The hotels have spa's and beauty treatments to which i'm sure you girls will enjoy. :thumbsup2
What ever you decide hope you have a Goofy time :goofy: :goofy: :goofy: :goofy:

I you went last year then it is not too unreasonable thay they would want something else, you may need to bear in mind that the cost of a WDW trip is likely to be significantly more than a traditional Summer hol in Spain. Why not get a Saturday job and offer to pay for your part.

It does sound tough but like Andy B says WDW is a VERY expensive holiday, maybe your parents are prioritising their money elsewhere these days, the cost of living is rising all the time so maybe they're trying to keep their money for other purposes. Maybe, too, they just don't 'get it' :confused3 after all there are a lot of people who don't!
If I were you I'd look forward to booking your own holiday there with your mates in a couple of years at least you know you'll have a fantastic time, and sooooo much better than the old 'club 18-30' thing

Why not agree to Spain as long as its Porte Aventura? :rotfl: Or is Woody Woodpecker not your thing ;)
