Personalized Napkins

Ok so I know they are completely unnecessary, but I really want them. My mother had them for her wedding to my father. It was really the only 'extra' she could afford and she thinks that wedding napkins are really cute, so I want to get them.

I wanted to get them in Aqua & Light green - One with a seashell or starfish design and one with a castle design. Which one should go with which????

Where did you buy them? What did you think, good quality? What's the cheapest you have seen them online? Was it worth it?

Did Disney put them out for you? How did you use them? At the Bar? With the cake?

Any input would be appreciated!

I'm getting mine from Impressions. Shelley has been great. We are having Orange and Fuschia napkins with the castle on some and Tinkerbell on the others. Disney is taking care of evrything so they will all ready be out when we get there. I think but am not sure that they will be used for the cocktail hour. Just waiting on prices.

I bought mine online from WeddingChannel.com and gave them to my WP. They were way cheaper that way. She put them by the bars to serve with cocktails. HTH!

Any printer can do them and a local printer might be cheaper. We ordered cocktail napkins with our monogram for our at-home reception. We got them for free with our formal invites and stationary thanks to the company I worked for at the time of the wedding. Anyway, we did not have a reception so now I put them out at holidays when we have guests at the house. People are really impressed by them

I got mine from Impressions, and she was pretty good. I would not use her unless you want to have one of the Disney designs only she can sell you. If you pick a design that you can get anywhere, you will get them cheaper elsewhere.

I wanted to use them for my dessert party. Disney did not put them out. (In fact they didn't put anything out for the dessert party that I gave them! ) I ended up using them for the party my mom threw for us at home.

I saw a bride who DIY'd her napkins and they came out really cute. They were dark blue and purple and she stamped a sand dollar in gold ink on each one. It might take a while, but it's definitely budget friendly and hers turned out beautifully!

That is why I am afraid to get them!! I was going to get some for the dessert party but I am afraid they will be forgotten.

After seeing this I sent an email to my planner requesting that all the items I have to be put out for the dessert party to be listed specifically on the BEO. Not sure if that will help but I hope it does. I think that is the one thing I would go Bridezilla over, spending good for them not to be used.

I know, I think you'd have to do a test run. I don't know of any inks that definitely wouldn't run. The only time I've seen stamped cocktail napkins, I was really careful to use the parts that weren't stamped for that reason. I guess it wouldn't make sense to have napkins that left your guests multi-colored!
