Personalized Menu at Coral Reef

Hi! Just finished reading a trip report and she had pictures of personalized menus that were designed for her daughters at Coral Reef Rest. Just wondering if that can still be done and if so how to go about it? Thanks for your help.

Will the diver still hold up personalized signs? If so how do go about getting that done?

Both the diver and menus were discontinued as of January 1, 2009.

When we did Divequest last Christmas Eve, one of the Disney divers gave my daughter a slate to show a family who were at the restaurant. One of the kids was having a birthday. She tapped on the glass and pointed to the sign. He got excited and started jumping up and down. Nice experience for both the family and us.

Too bad they canceled the program. From what I heard, people were abusing the system. Things like, “Hey Joey, happy Tuesday.” OK, I am exaggerating a bit. I think a great idea gone off the tracks.

It's too bad they discontinued this.

It was the only good thing about our experience at the Coral Reef. Our server was not very good.
